How to Claim AOA Credits

AOA CME Submission and Certificate:
To claim Category 1-A AOA credits, please attest to your participation in the lectures by completing the online form. You must complete this form in its entirety. Completing this form is mandatory in order for your credits to be reported to the AOA on your behalf.

Complete CME Form

Once you have completed the CME statement of attendance at the end of the online form, you will be directed to a page where you can fill out and print your CME certificate for your records. You will have instant access to fill in your certificate, save and print it.

To fill out the certificate accurately, you will need to have the total number of credit hours (noted for each lecture) that you plan to claim.  If you select YES to the certificate question, you will be forwarded to a fillable certificate where you can input your information and save it to your device. If you would like to print your certificate, make sure to save the filled-in certificate to your device first and then print. If you select NO to the certificate question, your attestation will be submitted, and you will NOT be forwarded to the certificate page. If you find that you need a record of your certificate after submitting your form, please contact [email protected] or with any questions. 

AOA Accreditation Statement

The American Osteopathic College of Anesthesiologists is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians.

The American Osteopathic College of Anesthesiologists designates this program for a maximum of 31.50 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation in this activity.

2Complete and submit the evaluation and click the certificate hyperlink displayed on the last page
3. Save/download/print your certificate and store it in a safe location.

  1. identify and implement evidence-based medicine and current guidelines into their current anesthesia practice.
  2. identify and discuss steps to improve their professional career development and personal well-being.
  3. review and discuss new technologies and advances in Anesthesiology and how to incorporate them into their practice.
