Strategy: Engage 

AOCA builds dynamic, engaged, and inclusive membership which sustains the growth and reflects the values of the College. 

AOCA develops the culture and leadership of the College’s board and volunteer members to become strategic, innovative, and diverse. 

Committee Mission: Engagement, Recruitment and Communication 

  • Develop a three phased membership engagement plan for the next 5 years
  • Determine and maintain a membership value proposition
  • Obtain a membership needs assessment and advocate for those needs to the BOG
  • Support the marketing resources in development of a membership drive
  • Recruit potential members and approve applications for membership
  • Review CV’s of new members for areas of contribution
  • Develop a communication schedule (Newsletter Late Nov, Jan, April, July), email blast and social media releases
    • Marketing services and AOCA office will be the support system
    • Engage with the AOCA leadership and committee liaisons for content
    • Guide AOCA office on social media content
